What we believe

God
There is one God who exists as three co-equal and co-eternal distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that exists, visible and invisible, and therefore worthy of all glory and praise.  God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom,  justice, and mercy. He is unchangeable and is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

Jesus
(John 1 & Philippians 2) Jesus is the eternal Word, the Son of God who for humanity's redemption took on flesh reconciling us to God. He lived a life without sin and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our transgressions. He was raised from the dead (bodily) and now, by grace, offers as a gift eternal life to all who follow Christ, by faith, as their Lord and Savior. That is why salvation can be found in Christ alone.

The Return of Christ
Jesus Christ is returning one day to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth.

The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God the third person within the Godhead or Trinity, equal with the Father and Son. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit who is essential to one living a powerful life in Christ. According to God's word the Holy Spirit draws us to Christ and we receive the Holy Spirit at the point of placing our faith in Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior (Romans 8:9)

Holy Scripture
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God given to all people to bring us into the knowledge of God and Salvation through Christ Jesus. According to 2 Timothy 3:16, we believe all scriptures are inspired by God and profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and instruction in righteousness. The Bible is our "rule of faith".

Love & Transformation
We believe that everyone should be loved, everyone can rise, and anyone can be transformed in Christ. We believe in building families, building community, and building the broken. Our assignment is to be a refuge.

Biblical Justice
The Bible is clear that God is a God of Justice and we as his servants believe that we too should stand against the injustices to all mankind regardless of race or gender.
