City of Refuge Ministries is committed to trusting God for our health and healing. We also trust God to continue to give us wisdom on navigating a global pandemic. Our priority is to do everything we can to provide safety for our church members. We have created this Covid-19 Portal to partner with our members in keeping our community as safe as possible. Please be diligent and supportive in helping us maintain safety.

Below you will find:
1. Our Covid-19 Policy.
2. A form to fill out if you have tested positive.
3. What we are doing to keep you safe.

City of Refuge Covid Policy

1.  We continue to pray and seek wisdom from God regarding Covid-19.

2.  We follow CDC and professional medical recommendations about the Covid-19 virus and its variants.

3.  We recommend as a protective measure that everyone gets vaccinated, however it is not mandatory to be vaccinated for corporate attendance.

4. We mandate the wearing of masks while in church and the practice of social distancing.

5. We mandate temperature checks before entering the sanctuary. If you have a temperature of 100 or more; we will check again to ensure the reading is accurate. If accurate, we will pray with you if desired, and ask for your safety and the safety of others, that you return home and watch the service virtually.

6.  If you or anyone in your household has a fever or flu-like symptoms, we ask you to stay home and watch our service virtually. We highly recommend you get tested and seek professional medical attention.

7.  If you have been exposed to the virus or have tested positive, please fill out the positive testing form included in the portal. BE ADVISED YOUR INFORMATION WILL ONLY GO TO OUR COVID-19 PROTOCOL & SAFETY TEAM. We will identify and communicate to others they could have been exposed to the virus and we suggest testing for safety measures. If you have tested positive for the virus, we ask you to receive a negative test result before returning to the “in-person” service.

8.  If you have been exposed to the virus, we ask you not to attend an upcoming service within 5 days of the exposure and to receive a negative test before returning. The professional research we have studied suggests exposure can take time to manifest if an individual has contracted the virus.

For Positive Covid-19 Test Result, please fill out:

For your knowledge we will remain compliant with HIPAA law and will not give any of your medical information or name to anyone outside of our COVID19 Protocol & Safety Team. This information will only go to our COVID19 Protocol & Safety Team for the purposes of contract tracing. If you have been in contact with someone at the church in the last 7 days we will contact them letting them only know “It’s possible they have been exposed to the virus and therefore will need to get tested."

Our Commitment to You

As stated, our priority is to keep our community safe. While we will do our best to put forth policies for prevention, we cannot guarantee that someone will not contract COVID-19 during our corporate events. We pray that everyone acts in good faith and maintains accountability to the policies in place and we believe God will continue to be with us.

 1. We shall continue in prayer for the healing of everyone affected by the coronavirus.

 2. Our Covid-19 team stays up to date with the latest information and recommendations from  the CDC and other accredited medical professionals concerning the virus.

 3. We provide temperature checks at the door.

 4. We mandate mask wearing while in the building.

 5. We have policies and protocols in place for those who have tested positive or have been exposed to Covid-19.

 6. We have virtual programming so those who cannot attend in-person due to safety protocols can still participate in online service.

 7. We have a plan for exposure tracing that complies with HIPAA guidelines.

 8. We spray and clean our facility weekly.

 9. Starting January 1, 2022, we will have Covid-19 Rapid Test Kits for take-home use. If you are unable to get a Covid-19 test at one of our local facilities, please call the church and request a take home kit.
