Choosing to have a relationship with Jesus Christ is the most important decision you will ever make in your life. It is unlike any other relationship. It is the desire of City of Refuge Ministries that everyone understand the beautiful Gospel of Jesus Christ and accept the His gift of salvation offered to all of humanity through His life, work, death, and resurrection.

Colossians 1:16

1. God created everything, including you. 

Romans 5:12

2. Adam and Eve, first humans created by God, disobeyed God, causing sin to enter the Earth, and spread to everyone in the Earth.

2 Corinthians 5:18

3. The sin and disobedience caused separation in relationship between humanity and God. But, God wanted to be reunited in relationship with humanity and provided a way for us to be reconnected to Him by sending Jesus Christ, to live and die for our sins.

2 Corinthians 5:14-15

4. Jesus gave up His life, died on the cross, as payment for our sins. He died, but rose again from the grave on the third day

1 John 1:9 

5. And, now it is up to us to respond by confessing our sins and accepting Jesus as our Savior and Lord.
Ephesians 2:8-9
8 For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift— 9 not from works, so that no one can boast.
Salavation is a free gift from God. We do not work to earn it. We just believe and receive it.
Today, we can choose Jesus! If you want to choose Jesus today, here is a short prayer that can help guide you. 

Dear Jesus, I want to have a relationship with you. I know I can’t save myself because I am a sinner. Thank you for dying on the cross for me. I believe you died for me, and I accept your gift of salvation. Thank you for loving me. Give me the faith to believe in You. Thank You, Jesus. Amen
